Agree -- can see no connection between the new skeleton-dial Carreras and the original models, and there is nothing appealing about these new models.
Seems to me that TAG Heuer wants to offer a "Poor Man's" Hublot / Zenith, with the skeleton dial and super bright colors. That's OK, but it pains me to see the "Carrera" on the dial (or on the area where the dial used to be).
At least the new three-or-four-hand Autavias stay within the basic theme / look of the predecessors (once we get past the fact that they are not chronographs).
