Agree with all of this. . .also it is worth noting that for my taste there are FAR too many loose dials around and easily available. Have to very careful especially since you don't have communities like OF or OTD to scrutinize put together watches
Now. . if only i could find one of GVM's grail mkIs for about 8k USD LOL
: Lets see how everything develops. Its a bit of a mystery why Enicar
: is just a brand of a few enthusiasts despite the fact that they
: have an enormous motorsport history ( before Heuer) and also
: funded several Expiditions and Divers, like Hans Hass. The only
: reason I can imagine, is that the brand is not alive any more.
: Sure the name is still there, but these chinese watches are crap
: :D
: So there is no heritage department, or new watches that are
: connected to the originals. Thats the pinnacle of every
: Speedmaster, Heuer Carrera or Rolex GMT: Their History. At some
: point, a buyer of a new watch is interested in the history. If
: you dont sell new watches,....there is also none asking for the
: old ones. At least thats my explanation :D
: Btw i'd like to add my page enicar101.com to your list. I started
: to classify all Sherpa Graph watches, based on their serial
: number. I have a database of 126 watches so far, any help to
: extend this list is appreciated!
: Best Nico
