I posted this on Instagram last night, and the response has been excellent. Here the posting on the Carrera 45 Dato dial with the fake logo -- http://www.onthedash.com/beware-fake-heuer-carrera-ims-dial/
It's a lot more fun dealing with the good guys than dealing with the bad guys, but it seems important to let folks know that these fakes exist. Most experienced collectors would spot this dial, but you can never be certain who might fall into the trap.
It was very interesting chatting with the woman who previously owned the company that did the printing on these special dials!! It didn't take her long to dismiss the painted dial as a fake.
