In Response To: 1000 meter restoration ()

: I sent my Heuer 1000 meter quartz diver to Tag
: Heuer for restoration (as i was told by them
: that they had the necessary parts in
: Switzerland). I just got it back and the
: watch looks great. However, they replaced
: the original Heuer dial and crown with Tag
: Heuer dial and crown. I beleive the Tag
: Heuer logos came out a year or two after
: (but the same watch). Will this effect the
: value of my watch. It is now mint and
: terrific as everything has been done by Tag
: themselves...it just say's tag heuer instead
: of heuer...should this bother me...

My 2 cents Yes this should bother you, But as long as thay told you up front its OK and I hope You got your old parts back!!!
If thay infomed you and you got your old parts back , hay it done. But if this was a blind sided deal and no used parts back. Oh Boy thats an outrage to me.
Post a photo becuase once the crew sees it and starts saying how nice your watch is it will help you too. Get those parts back.
