Heuer Solunar: I need a swiss maritime expert...

Hi all,

I have two Heuer Solunar with an interesting difference: as you can see in the image the inner dials are different, see the difference in angles (marked red), which means that each watch will show another time for high tide. I would seriously presume there are no oceans tides in Switzerland, so did they just guess?

Thanks for your help, and: if you come across a Solunar bezel, I desperately need one!!!

Thanks for hints and a fruitful discussion,

Niko
