I think it is why we all like coming here Jeff. Even some no-profit sites get really anal about discussing topics that do not conform to the founders 'principles'. I posted about my new Patek Philippe 5970 grand complication having a fault on one such site and it caused uproar! Seems it is fine to praise the company but not ask if others have had similar problems with its products. Everyone had to re-register and provide good reasons why they should be allowed access to the 'purist' forum.

Patek themselves were great and solved the problem but it seems the watch owners take offence easily.

If you get round to owning a Patek (I can recommend the beautiful ref 5296 by the way) I hope you will open a similar site to this although you may need to call it 'On the Cash'.

Regards

David
