I just added a black dial version of the Heuer Carrera Re-Edition (with the 1873 Lemania) to replace the silver/white face version of this watch I just sold to Brother Tim. Aside from the dial color and the white instead of blue decimal scale and the white sub dial markings and hands--I notice that the silver dial version descends toward the seconds chapter ring in a nice slope while the black dial goes straight across. Does anyone know why this is?
The silver dial with blue decimal scale seems to have a more delicate,precise instrument feel to it while the black dial version seems a nice intermediary between say a Speedy and the silver dialed Heuer Carrera. I love them all.
