Camaro hands and UK Motorcycle Museum Fire *LINK*

Don't know what you are saying but the hands , raised hours , movement , bridge and case (front and back) are Heuer Camaro . That brings me to a question or two . Does anyone remember the UK Motorcycle Museum fire in 2003 ? See the link . Many bikes were totally done for , many were saved , but many had to be completely rebuilt and are now spectacular ! Does anyone have an idea as to how their value would be effected .And would the fact it was a rebuilt , originally water damaged , Camaro make a difference one way or an other ? In the sphere of Heuer chrono collecting.

: One of the first lessons I learned from Jeff, a
: few years ago, was that any supposed Heuer
: watch with "17 Jewels" (or any
: number of Jewels) is at minimum a refinished
: dial, and at worst not a Heuer. It was an
: observation from Jeff that saved me alot of
: money (thanks again Jeff). Three or so years
: later I still haven't seen a Heuer that
: breaks this rule.

: Not 100% sure on "antimagnetic"
: written on the dial, generally screams
: redial if it is purporting to be a Heuer,
: but I have seen some models from the 50s
: which might be correct with this
: inscription. Anyone have any views?

: Back to your camaro, I think we'll all agree
: the dial might concievably not be untouched
: original (LOL), but I agree also with Jeff
: that case and movement look correct. You
: should be able to find a camaro dial
: somewhere, I think they are not stupidly
: rare. Good luck.
