Mystery / Autavia "Kingon"

So who can help me provide a reader with information about this watch? It's an early execution of the Autavia, Reference 3646, but:

  • who or what was this "Kingon"? retailer? prototype maker?

  • strange to have "Kingon" on the dial and on the case-back?

  • why no "Heuer" logo on the dial or the case-back?

  • could this one be a study or prototype?

  • Is this like the "Villard" Monaco that we discussed previously?

Any ideas?

Jeff
