Re: Dato 45 answers
In Response To: Dato 45 answers ()

Hey, that's too good! Thanks everybody for the precious infos...
OK I guess that if I buy the watch I would probably not set the date every single time.

Many thanks again for the help

: Hi,

: Carrera Dato 45 is one of the rarer Heuer
: watches and one of the prettiest. The
: movement used was a Landeron 189 which is a
: manual wind chronograph, column wheel with
: date. This watch is one of the earliest
: chronographs with a date wheel. The movement
: being manual means that it does not have a
: quick set date function. So 'yes' you do
: have to wind the hour hand a full 24 hours
: to change the date forward.

: The watch has two dial colours, matt black and
: silver sunburts with two date positions, top
: and left of centre.

: hope that helps!

: Regards

: Alistair
