I Have Never Seen 2nd Execution Case w/ Dauphine Hands
In Response To: Did I buy a frankenwatch ? ()

Yes, you have the second execution screw-back case (narrower bezel) and the second execution dial (smaller registers). I don't recall ever seeing dauphine hands in a second execution screw-back case, but I will check with a "higher authority" and let you know what I learn.

It is possible to have genuine first execution case and second execution dial, with the dauphine hands; but I doubt that the dauphine hands were ever used in the second execution case. No hard evidence here; just my best guess.

: I just received a 3646 Autavia. I thought it was a 1st execution
: case with 2nd execution dial. But it is in fact a 2nd execution
: case and dial.

: Here are the particulars; it has small pushers (4.0 mm), dauphine
: hands, small registers and small hour markers with luminous
: dots. However it also has a thin bezel and second execution
: case. I did not think dauphine hands were used with 2nd
: execution cases. I guess I’m asking if you guys think it is
: legit, has anyone seen this combination before? or, do you think
: it is put together?
