Then this afternoon, I decided that the one shown below deserved a spot in the Gallery. Just when I completed the addition, I received a message from Peter, telling me that he had been sick for the last couple of days, and went to the Gallery to cheer himself up a little. [How strange is that, I ask you??]
So this one is in Peter's honour, with best wishes for a speedy recovery.
If this is a fake (which I have to believe it is), it is a stunner!! Love the dial and registers; love the crown guards. Again, a shame that Heuer didn;t make this one. Or could this one be that "rare prototype" that we would all covet?
Comments? Questions? Anyone else go to the Gallery when they are a little down and need some good cheer?
