Re: Could This Be a Coincidence? / For Peter / Comments ? ?

The Gallery of Fakes was a useful weapon in the arsenal for me for spotting dodgy watches when first starting out, along with the catalogues and other galleries.

A lot of them are so bad, though, that I don't think I would ever have considered them genuine, even as a Heuer virgin!

So now it's something I only pop to occasionally, to raise a smile, a frown or a frowny smile (yes, I just checked and I can do both at once!!). I do have to confess it took me a fair while to realise that some of them are links through to further photos - some of the movements are even funnier than the dials ;)

Are you able to run stats over which pages of OTD get the most visits Jeff? It would be interesting to see what's popular and what could use some forum publicity. I started off mainly with the galleries for the eye candy, then mixed in the MOAT and lately have been finding the catalogues intriguing too.
