Monaco Gasket Goop: Study These Before You Open the Case

I am planning to write this up, as a story of a bargain turned bad, but let me suggest that anyone thinking of buying a Monaco that may have a "melted gasket", or any amateur thinking of opening a Monaco case (where there is any doubt about the condition of the gasket), should have a quick look at these six photos.

Details of the story and lots more of these photos, to follow soon, but I would say that these photos are "worth a thousand words" (and may save you a few thousand dollars).
