Dortmund brewery do a FREE tour daily - with tasting . mmmmm

Hi Jeff , in my travels as a backpacker (1990) i had a lovely young frauline in my life from Dortmund. My experience was that Dortmund was not a beautiful, wild or entertaining city but the the local brewery had a FREE daily tour which ended in the sample room.
From memory the tours were twice a day but if you went on the 1st tour (around midday ) then you were allowed to stay on until the second tour arrived some time later.
As a poor backpacker i can tell you this was a gem of a find but i was sadly asked on my 4th tour ( in as many days ) not to return for a fifth "educational visit".

Ah Dortmund , ah Sabina , ah Dortmund brewery... so many memories !!! - Darren

: Next Stop, Dortmund . . . Not as Pretty as Prague, but very nice
: if you like the flying rhinos!!

: My father in law was born in Dortmund, in 1923, and he left in
: 1938, so he brought three of his children and 10 of his
: grandchildren back here, to show them where he grew up.
