I have seen some cal 15 carrera cases nos with cal 12 configuration, other examples would be sifferts after 1972 with V cases, diver 100 with V cases, Rolex did the same with 5512 and 5513 submariner cases and backcases, especially during running out, the factory used what was still on stock...
