Re: Dow Jones Article re Vintage Watches as an Investment

Hehe,I think we have the exact same problem, playing the investment card doesn`t seem to work over here any longer either.
Guess she`s noticed that very little actually leaves my little grey suitcase, while packages seems to be coming to our house in an endless stream..

What can I say,I`m probably both hunter and gatherer.Jekyll & Hyde indeed..

Cheers

.: Greetings from the NY to the ODT crowd.

: Well, in a real Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde spirit, I would say both
: sentiment and investment. The former gives me the unexplicable
: pleasure/pride of wearing and staring at the only accessory I
: usually wear. The latter helps me in dealing with the better
: half of my household everytime few more thousands of dollars are
: 'invested' in a 'piece a steel'. Unfortunately she does no
: longer buy it, arguing that the traditional form of investment
: is buying and selling for a profit and not buying and
: accumulating.....I guess she has a point!
