I Met Some Guys For Breakfast . . .

I Met Some Guys For Breakfast . . .and showed them the TAG-Heuer 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Monaco (and an original 1133B). They were favorably impressed with the re-issue. Of course, they prefer the original, but the consensus was that the re-issue has found a nice spot between the normal production Monaco re-issues (selling in the $3000 range) and the vintage Monacos (selling for three times that number). I'm not sure how many customers there are at this $6,000 price point, but TAG-Heuer only needs 1,000 of these customers.

maybe we are just the "old timers", but the more closely the re-issue matches the original watch, the happier we seem to be. I suppose that the same may be true for the re-issues of the Mustangs and Barracudas.
