Re: I Met Some Guys For Breakfast . . .

yes but omega really ket the spirit of the old version...whilst heuer I dont like their remakes to far from original.....

yes and the ploprof is limited to 1000 ...so onyl via this way you keep the spirit of a brand plus dont destroy prices of the old stuff :-)

: I Met Some Guys For Breakfast . . .and showed them the TAG-Heuer
: 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Monaco (and an original 1133B).
: They were favorably impressed with the re-issue. Of course, they
: prefer the original, but the consensus was that the re-issue has
: found a nice spot between the normal production Monaco re-issues
: (selling in the $3000 range) and the vintage Monacos (selling
: for three times that number). I'm not sure how many customers
: there are at this $6,000 price point, but TAG-Heuer only needs
: 1,000 of these customers.

: maybe we are just the "old timers", but the more closely
: the re-issue matches the original watch, the happier we seem to
: be. I suppose that the same may be true for the re-issues of the
: Mustangs and Barracudas.
