New Section Tonight: Carrera 45's . . . More Needed, Please!

At long last, I have created a proper Index page for the wonderful Carrera 45's.

Interesting that:

  • there were only nine versions of the Carrera 45, five in steel and four gold-plated
  • all are "early", so no black inserts in the hands and no wider markers
  • the "D" version (decimal minutes) seems to be rare . . . at least I can't find one on my C-drive; let's hope that this version is not one of the ones that was shown in the catalogs, but never made it into production. who can show us one of these?
So who can help us complete this section of Carrera 45s? Of course, I have not yet uploaded the photos that I have collected over the years, but please contribute if you have one of the rare ones (decimal minutes, black-dialed or gold-plated, in particular) or any favorite photos of any of them. Post photos in this thread, send me a link to where they are hosted, or send photos by e-mail!!

Thanks in advance!!

Jeff
