AMI is the Aeronautica Militare Italiana, hence Italian.
IDF or the various ways you may want to use to transcript from Hebrew instead adopted (roughly in the same period as when AMI chose the 510.543) the black PVD Autavia with 11063V case, ref. 113.603. One of your favourite Autavias, btw, as I've read on another post.
It's anyway unbelievable what good taste these air forces showed: both are fantastic watches and probably among the nicest Heuers.
