Re: Paul is Correct: You Have a Green Machine ! ! !

Thanks all. This has been very educational. Now I just need to find an appropriate place to have it serviced. I'm in Orlando, FL area.

Also, I need suggestions for a bracelet or strap. I've found the following showing, what I assume is, an original bracelet: http://www.onthedash.com/Guide/_Chronographs/62.Autavia/a.Manual--Screw-Back_Case/Screw-Back_(2nd_Execution_Case)/

: Paul has already given you the good news -- your watch does not
: use a battery, but a gentle winding every day (or so) will keep
: this one running. Indeed, it's a "green machine" . . .
: having very little environmental impact (other than a small drop
: of oil every few years, to keep it lubricated); most collectors
: actually enjoy the winding experience . . . a way of staying
: close to our watches.

: Congratulations on this one, and please stay in contact, to let us
: know how this is all going!!

: Welcome to our community of vintage watch collectors . . . you come
: aboard with a pretty watch and a great story!!

: Jeff
