I think it's harder now to start a collection than when I did; reasonably priced pieces in good original condition are thinner on the ground than when I set my original £500 ceiling! That didn't last too long but at the time you could buy pretty much anything for that, Monacos included. Of course, some of my watches have cost many times that ceiling now and I can only look back wistfully at those days. Good times, good times.

So, two good collections for only a year in - year 2 should be consolidating and refining, so it will be interesting to see what it brings for both of you. And no Carrera on your wishlist David? Tsk tsk!
