Re: 143xxx and 202xxx: The Boys in the Band(s)

Ok guys, it seems I've been calling them by the wrong gender. It's just I've always been taught that beautifull objects which can often be temperamental and expensive are described in the feminine. I can't think why...

Ignoring the obvious conclusion, maybe it's because we admire their beauty and lust after them. I know my wife thinks of my small collection as my mistress!

Anyway, sorry boys.

Regarding the reference numbers Jeff, the Siffert is 2029** and the MH (can I call it the 'Bell'?) is 1439**.

Any idea what year the MH is please? Is it around 1970 the same as the Siffert?

Thanks

David H

: David:

: Each of these is a lovely number for the watch on which it is
: marked. I am starting to believe that the best way to describe
: the numbering scheme is a series of "bands", and
: 143xxx is in the "band" of early MHs and 202xxx is in
: the "band" of the early Sifferts.

: If you can send me the full numbers, I would like to add them to my
: table (and can keep any number of digits confidential, if you
: like).

: Thanks,

: Jeff
