I'm with you and Jeff on the refinished dial Thomas. It looks nice, but there is quite a lot going on and, as you point out, there are a few anachronisms there too. It's such a shame we don't have more literature from the '50s - I had a couple of Autocourse magazines from then recently (it was a periodical before it became an annual) and looked through them eagerly, but unfortunately no Heuer ads...
