Relume looks great! If it's a watch you bought to wear and enjoy, I don't see any problem in renewing it.

Part seems to be a broken 445 (setting lever spring), which is part of the time/date setting mechanism. The French text in the ETA labeled paper envelope says "ball bearing", so it is clearly unrelated with the part.
