Beautiful Colors

Beautiful colors, as we have come to expect from you, David!! And, as you point out, the timekeeping is also not too shabby.

I was explaining the "chocolate" watches to a friend recently, and -- not being a collector -- he marveled at the fact that fading is actually considered to be desirable!! Fading / aging / maturing / developing . . . all good things, when done well.

Enjoy this one!!

Jeff

: A slightly tropical MKIII dial, rarely seen seen on this
: iteration..depending on the light, it is either grey, a shade of
: purple?, or a very dark brown..but in any event, the patina on
: the hands and markers is beautiful, not to mention the domed
: crystal, and most importantly, the reason we wear a watch, the
: impeccable timekeeping, 3 seconds lost over 72 hrs, and this on
: a 38 year old watch..pretty good I say!
: Cheers,
: David
