Cool post and sounds like a good afternoon at the Mall.
I'm not a Lewis fan, but I've seen him at other TH events, and he is a super-smooth PR guy (even if he whinges about things afterwards).
By the way, so involved was Lewis in the early design stages of the Calibre 1887, that he remembers that the movement was originally going to be called the Calibre 18
