We know Heuer sold a lot of stopwatches...

...but I didn't necessarily know how many. So it was interesting to come across the below while I was in the middle of writing my next blog article for Cal 11.

100000 examples per annum of a single model of stopwatch alone! Working off serials, that has to be more than 10 times peak watch production and makes a lot of sense given Jack Heuer's comment to the people who went to the convention that they made 20 stopwatches and timers for every chronograph.

I think I'll have to get a few stopwatches when I'm in a buying position again, I think I can do that and remain faithful to the Carreras!
