Pseudo Lux ;-) Porsche = Heuer???

I read it as humor. Gave me a mild giggle. Mustang??? Ouch.

Is a common feeling that Heuer = Porsche? How many people on this list currently own one? What's a Ferrari? Bentley?

Dave (no Mustangs in my stable)

: I find that among watch enthusiasts, there is
: ALWAYS someone who will take exception to
: any stated opinion about a brand.

: The poster was asking for an overall opinion on
: the the brand as the basis of a decision on
: whether to buy a current model. If you read
: the chart I referred to, you will have a
: better perspective on what I meant by my
: comments.
: My comment on them being
: "pseudo-luxury" was referring to
: the OVERALL positioning of their current
: model line in an arbitrary but illustrative
: grouping used in that chart.

: It was not intended as an insult to that brand
: or to imply that they never in their history
: made anything exceptional.
