sorry about that . . . I thought that you were writing about the 1158, rather than the 1153. Raises further mysteries about how these catalogs / illustrations were created!!

I just wonder if there were any customers who sent in their $950, and then were upset when their chronograph arrived, without the contrasting registers and bezel? Hard to imagine that they sold too many of these 18 KG guys through this catalog, but we can never tell.

: The number wasn't a typo - instead of an 1158 CH the ad shows an
: 1153 S. Hence the contrast registers and inner bezel. Because it
: depicts a steel watch rather than any of the gold variants.
