I've tried to develop some relationships with the people I use, both to know their strengths and limitations, as well as their sensitivity to vintage watches. There are repairs I would trust to one guy but not another. And there are repairs I won't trust to anyone I usually use. But one of the benefits is that I can usually get them to go to work on my watches right away rather than put them in the queue for repair a month or two down the line. I really can't bear the idea of them sitting in an envelope on a workbench for a month without me.
