Thank you, that's very interesting. I am wearing the GMT today and it does work well on this strap (I bought a few from Heuerboy and made the central holes bigger). The GF on the 1163 is comfortable for me but I can understand why the weight of the GMT might not work so well, I didn't realise the end pieces were the same. I do like the chunky bracelet, I also like my cars and the racing heritage of these Heuers so I'll keep it on the rally strap for now.
You're both right about the tachy insert on the 2446. Maybe I just need to go and find another one with the MH insert...
