START TIME - THURSDAY / FRIDAY
In Response To: I propose a "Wind-Off" ()

In the hope of compiling the results during the coarse of the weekend i would strongly suggest people start there Wind-Off on the Thursday or latest early Friday.
When you consider the probable range for our movements is anywhere from 25- ?60? hours we need to start early enough to make sure we get the results in.
I hope to to make a summary of results on sunday evening CET (Central European Time).

Again a request for members to cotribute here, especially with movements that have not been covered already.

Good luck everyone - Darren

-: There are so many different manual wind movements available for our
: Heuer watches so I began to wonder how long these various manual
: wind watches hold their time from fully wound.
: How about we try a community "Wind-Off", to see how long
: the various movements last from fully would without using the
: chronograph during this time.

: It would be nice if we could cover all the different movements
: offered up by Heuer (or any other nice watch).
: Perhaps we could attack this concept this weekend and record our
: communities results. It may also be worth highlighting if a
: watch has been recently serviced to see if it lasts longer.

: ** Auto watches need not feel left out either, the obvious way to
: record their power reserve is to make sure they are fully wound
: & then dont move or wear them. **

: It will be necessary to check the watch is still running at least
: every 12 hours so as to be sure exactly when it has stopped.

: Anyone want to participate in this event ?

: Cheers - Darren
