Re: The Real Phantom Heuer (OT)
In Response To: The Real Phantom Heuer (OT) ()

Great post Shaun,
As a kid I was fanatic about building model airplanes. I was meticulous in the detailing, and one of my very first was a light grey F-4. I have a massive book about them somewhere.
Your post has just sent me right down memory lane - thanks!!

Stewart

: Stewart, that is a really interesting post (and nice pics!) -
: always great to find a new Heuer mystery out there.

: Sorry to go OT, but I can't read your post without visualising the
: watch I think of when I hear the words "Heuer" and
: "Phantom":

:
:

: It's the model worn by the Vietnam fighter ace Jeffery Feinstein,
: flying the F-4 Phantom. I never miss the chance to post this
: pic....

:
:

: ... proving that contrary to Top Gun, even fighter pilots can look
: like nerds
