Strap Success #2 *PIC*
In Response To: Strap Success #1 *PIC* ()

The first generation Autavia is the most fastidious of my watches concerning straps. This piece looks so old and does not work on the well-known rally straps, how small or big the holes might be. I did not realize this problem when I bought the watch, the seller unintentionally provided head-only images.

On the other hand I could not imagine to combine the watch with these simple hand-made straps in natural colors (while I have full respect for the craftsmanship of, e.g., David).

On the last Munich watch fair I had the time and opportunity to mix and match many different straps with some of my watches and was surprised by the appeal of this simple, rough, old strap with dark edges on the 3646 -- and I did not change the watch for more than a week.

Cheers,

Mick
