Yes, 558xx . . . Seems Like Perfect Serial Number

I will need to request photos of the movement, markings inside the case-back and markings (hallmark) on the case itself. Will be interesting to study these.

I did not see it with my own eyes, but was told that the serial number is 558xx . . . which would seem absolutely correct, as we have seen 54xxx (for Carreras, ref 3647) and 56xxx (for Carreras, ref 2447). So perhaps they dropped the 18 karat gold guys in between these two other batches.
