There are the famous stories of the automotive engineers and workers in Detroit who stayed after hours, had access to the parts bins, and built some pretty wild automobiles.

Were these genuine Fords, Chevys, etc.? No. They were made by off-duty engineers out of genuine parts.

Were they prototypes? No. They were not made by the manufacturers, but rather by individual employees.

What if the guy playing in the parts bin was Carroll Shelby (or Hans Schrag)? Then, maybe this creation has some value!!

But when we are told that this Autavia is a "one-off piece made for a worker in the factory", I see no value. I see guys playing in the parts bins, rather than a Heuer prototype.

All this, in my humble opinion.
