The Real Siffert / The Fun is in the Hunt
In Response To: Both Jeff and Chuck... ()

I have been chasing the Heuers for around five years; I have seen only one white-dialed, automatic Autavia marked "Chronomatic" that was offered for sale; the price was $499, including the original bracelet; and I missed it by just a few minutes.

someone got very lucky on this one, so as Jasper pointed out, it's always worth looking for these "impossible" watches. Just keep reminding yourself that the "fun is in the hunt" . . . right??

: thanks a lot for the insights, information,
: good advice,... I really appreciate it, but
: I knew already I'd come to the right place
: to ask advice...
: So, I'll pass on this one, but imho if I could
: trade my two watches for a real Siffert,
: that would've been a real good deal, ey ???
: (Keep on dreaming I guess)
: Thanks a LOT.

: Best regards,

: Bart Thans
