Advising on Unseen Watches

I agree with your points here, and maybe I should have been clearer in my message / advice. I did not look at the "Siffert" (either on the website or in the metal), as I also did not look at the black-dialed Autavia or Speedmaster to be offerd in the trade (with either photos or any description). I was describing average versions of the various pieces in average condition. For example, an average Viceroy with some normal wear may sell for $700, and in NOS condition that same model may be worth twice that amount or more.

I apologize if this appeared unprofessional, but without detailed information about all three watches that would have been on the trading block, any analysis or advice was only a rough guess.

Thanks for adding your message. Of all our OTD participants, you may be the number one authority on NOS Heuers and if you support the dealer's price, then that should be a valuable opinion for Bart to consider.

: The Siffert on the vintage heuersite is in
: really mint condition beautifully original
: unpolished !! > I have seen the watch on
: a fair recently, I think it is hard to
: compare with a restored, polished....!!
: There is also an amazing silverstone for offer
: on the vintage heuer website and Jonathan
: keeps the quality high !!
: Don`´t analyse or advise deals on watches you
: did not hold in your hands !! as it is very
: unfair and unprofessional !!
: Thanks for understanding AMH
