With all these fakes going around and the imense interest which they rightfully generate in the Heuer community, my thoughts will be no great surprize to those who can read the sign of times.

It is a must for every veteran Heuer collector to start collecting fake Heuers!

Just take a look at the Gallery of fakes. Admire the variety, the creativity, the undeniable rarity...

Dozens of unique pieces, oozing quality, are there for you to learn their stories, to explore their idiosyncrasies, to discover their little details, to be impressed by the craftsmanship of the anonymous Heuer seller who created something beautiful from what was just spare parts.

Oh yes! A collection of fakes would be the obvious next step in any serious collectors' life. It would take you one step further, one step above all others. Just imagine: not only you will have a truly unique collection theme, but none would ever question the authenticity of your watches. Now take into account the relatively lower prices of some of these pieces and you know you have to start collecting Franken/fake Heuers!

In a few years these models' prices will skyrocket. I bet that especialy the works of some very talented and productive Heuer-creators will achieve cult status and a passionate following among collectors.
(these Heuer-creators would even take orders for custom Heuer watches, but hey would cost a fortune - think AHCI)
Mark my words: in a couple years an "elvirab Carrera" or a "chileantiques Autavia" would cost two times the price of a "McQeen Monaco" or a "Shiffert Autavia".
