Re: Not ESA 536.121
In Response To: Not ESA 536.121 ()

: Hello, you all seems to forget that there's a different between the
: 980.006 and the 980.006L.

: 980.006 use ESA 536.121, this movement is thicker than the one used
: in a 980.006L.

: 980.006L (and all with a L) use a ESA 963.114

:
:
: This the movement you need.
: Search Ebay and you will somtimes find NOS cheap generic watches
: with this movement.

: A ETA 2824 automatic will only fit a non L case.

: Best regards

Good spot Jarl, yes you are right, i was only referring to the ESA 536.121, did'nt pay much attention to the 'L'.

I'd need to check Jarl but i'm sure the ESA 963.114 cannot be replaced with an ETA 955.112 either though again due to stem alignment issues.

Best,

James.
