Re: manhattan circuit
In Response To: manhattan circuit ()

Hello Paul,

Sounds like the display screen has leaked. The screen consists of two pieces of sealed glass with a crystal liquid enclosed hence Liquid Crystal Display or LCD.

If air gets into the liquid it is contaminated and goes black. The only way to tell if the circuit is still OK is to put a working screen in the module. I can test this for you if you like so at least you know. You would need to send me the module (I do not need the complete watch) and I can test and return it.

I live in the UK but insured airmail post is cheap if you live outside the UK. I do not charge as I enjoy it - you only need to cover the return post costs.

Jack
