Valuable Dial + Valuable Hands = $5,100

While we may never know what this watch looked like when it left the Heuer factory, we do see at least two valuable sets of parts:

  • hands for the "Orange Boy" Autavia
  • dial with 3-6-9-12 markers on the hour recorder, for the Autavia 1163 MH
For someone who has an "Orange Boy" dial, but needs the hands, or someone who is trying to complete a 1163 MH, this listing may have been a bargain. Of course, the buyer who might pay most for it is the dealer / enthusiast who might be able to buy this watch, and end up with a complete "Orange Boy" and a complete Autavia 1163 MH. For this bidder, this parts watch becomes a jackpot.
