I have done alot of resaerch on early Heuer chronographs. My impression is that this is a mix of a Leonidas case and a genuine Heuer dial. The case is clearly a Leonidas case as Jeff shows, but I think the dial is genuine. The narrow Heuer shield if a perfect match of the 1930's Heuer dials. I have never seen these early dials been faked, as many think that logos are fake.
Most Heuer collectors focus on the chronographs from 60s and 70s, and are not familiar with this first version of the Heuer logo.
I think this is no Heuer, but a nice Leonidas pilot chronograph with an period Heuer dial installed.
This 1940 Heuer chrono has the same narrow logo.
