It is an interesting topic.

Do you think also a possibility they are from another dial maker, or the same dial maker just using a different "cliche" to print the sub dials for a short time? It is odd they did not use script with serif but I suspect not without exception. It is interesting to note all 85/86 serials and this would lead thoughts to a "batch" otherwise why are all transitional 3rd exec dials all serif dials and then later all serif dials too?
