I can definitely see the attractiveness of the price point to a someone who desires a vintage look. I my opinion, unfortunate that they are not manual, even with a Chinese movement such as a Seagull. I think at the added cost, giving someone the full experience of a vintage piece (at a affordable price-point) may have opened a broader market and stayed more true to what these pieces aim to represent. Nice designs and they look well made, so I hope he has success with the line.
