:This is truly sad news,like many others here i did not know Derek personally,but was a reciepient of his kindness and knowledge on a number of occassions. As Chuck has mentioned,Derek was always offering his help to others,was a modest likeable fella,with a wealth of knowledge that will be soarly missed.
