Re: Meanwhile, in Geneva, the Newest Carrera . . .

TAGHublot.

: This week is the SIHH show, in Geneva. Traditionally, this is a
: big week for the brands in the Richemont Group, but not such a
: big deal for the LVMH brands.

: Still, TAG Heuer usually shows a couple of new watches during the
: Geneva gatherings.

: The big news for TAG Heuer seems to be a new carbon composite
: hairspring, that is being made in-house by TAG Heuer. Here it is
: in a new version of the Carrera.

: Having the ability to manufacture its own hairsprings is a big deal
: for TAG Heuer. Traditionally, most Swiss hairsprings were made
: by Nivarox, which is now part of the Swatch Group. So having
: this capability in-house at TAG Heuer is a big step in ensuring
: a reliable supply. The new hairspring also incorporates several
: new technical features that will contribute to excellent
: timekeeping.
