We Hope Are You Drafting Your Pieces
In Response To: Way to go. Nice job all! *NM* ()

Jim:

we are couting on you and Ralf for the photography pieces --

  • "Collecting 210 -- How to Take Pictures of Your Watches" -- a basic to intermediate level course that takes you from the simple "frosted trash-can" shots with the point-and-shoot cameras, to the intermediate level (in which you replace the trash can with some other type of diffusing material); no previous experience required.
  • "Collecting 310 -- An Advanced Course in Photographing Your Watches" -- explores the mysteries of RAW, PhotoShop layers, custom white balance settings, tethers, remote control shutter releases, work-flow and light temperatures; assumes that you have previously gotten out of the trash can.

So get out the D70 and starting shooting (and writing).

Jeff
